What are "Dropshippers"?

Dropshippers provide a way for you to get products that you sell online delivered to your customer without you having to store, handle or ship the product yourself. You sell it -- they ship it. Dropshipping provides a very effective and simple way for YOU to set up yourself up in a profitable Internet business.

Dropshipping allows you, as a web business manager, to display and sell products, and then transmit orders to a distributor (warehouse/fulfillment site) who, in turn, "dropships" the items directly to your customers (who ordered from your web site). You do the promotion and receive the payment, but the order fulfillment (packing and shipping) is handled by the distributor, thus the term, "dropshipping." You, yourself, need never purchase, stock nor handle any products at all.

Many online merchants now rely entirely upon dropshipping strategies as a means of minimizing stock on hand (to zero), decreasing overall shipping costs, and cutting down on delivery times to customers.

No muss, no fuss . . . and hardly any work.
