Let's begin with a very brief overview of what makes up a link. HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) is the cyber lingo for the programming code that your web pages are made of. You use simple coding formulas and there you have it — your masterpiece is on its way. Here's an example text link: (whatever text you wish). Note that when you click it you are taken to the page WE wish, in this case our home page.

At first the web page coding might look like a foreign language to you, but believe us, it will all fall into place with only a bit of practice. Whenever you click on a link that takes you to another page, you are using a link tag. The text that will be displayed on your viewable page will be the part that says, for example "Go to My Home Page" — that's all your viewer will see. You've created the actual code to take them there behind the scenes!
